The Rose is said to be a signature of the esoteric Traditions.  Wherever it grows, there the Tradition flourishes.  Esoteric knowing (Gnosis) is often personified as a beautiful veiled maiden (Rosa Mystica) who is sought by the lover of wisdom (Sophia).   Entrance into Her enclosed garden is by way of Love and a deep desire to find the hidden rose that grows there.

The Templum de Octo Rosae Mysticus (Temple of Eight Mystic Roses) is a Christic-based interfaith esoteric consortium.  We offer integrated teachings, practices, and initiatic training based on Eight Mystic Roses of the Western Traditions.  These 8 Spiritual Expressions (Mystical/Magical Christianity, Kabbalah, Sufism, Martinism, Hermeticism, Druidry, Chivalry, and Indigenous Shamanism) are united in purpose--to help us consciously commune with the Christ Consciousness (our Inner Teacher and Initiator) and to stabilize consciousness in Self-Realization and God Awareness.

The mission of the Templum is to:

• Deepen Communion with The One-Unity as expressed through the Most High Father, the Most Deep Mother and the Most Holy Son of Light - the Christ;   

• Deepen Cooperation with the Community of Saints, all our Brothers and Sisters in the One Heart, our Ancestors, the Land, and all living Beings;

• Cultivate Compassion, Mercy, Chivalric Courage and other Divine Virtues to expand capacity to Love and Serve;

• Sow seeds of Beauty, Healing, and Peace;

• Support and Assist the Adept's development of theurgical skills for service; and

• Offer integrated Interfaith Teachings and Practices leading to real, significant, and lasting spiritual Purification, Illumination, Self-Realization and God Awareness.

Work in the Templum is crafted to assist with realization of the above goals and centers on embracing those mysteries which lie at the Heart of the Rose and Cross that lead to Grace; linking that which is above to that which is below; and employing advanced theurgical practices in the service of Light, Life, Love, and Liberty (the Keys of the Way).
