International Order of Chivalric Companions

The International Order of Chivalric Companions is a growing alliance of mystically-oriented Chivalric Orders and individual Knights and Dames.  The purpose of the Order is to:

• Provide a community where Knights and Dames (Chevaliers) can rededicate themselves to the lofty ideals of Knighthood.                                                               

• Promote and expand the tradition of spiritual chivalry by encouraging participants to ennoble their lives and serve as models of inspiration to family, friends, colleagues, and community; and by providing initiatic Chivalric training, leading to physical or honorary dubbing as Knight or Dame.            

• Strengthen members' mutual mystical understanding; and assist with cultivation of Nobility of Character fostering actualization of innate spiritual potential.                  

• Create, exchange, and share teachings and practices to assist the Chevalier in building the Robe of Glory and to take their place at the Round Table of the Christ.

Member Chevaliers stand together, heart-to-heart, hand-in-hand, and rededicate themselves to the lofty ideals of Knighthood—to be a force for good—ambassadors of Light, Life, Love, and Liberty.  To promote the institute of mystical chivalry, the Order also provides Chivalric training and initiation under Episcopal fons honorum (the source of Honor).

The Supreme Commander of the Order and of the heart of each Chevalier is Christ —understood to be the Archetype and example for those who walk the path led by Knights of old—inspiring the Chevalier to become a better servant in the vineyard of the Master.

Participation in the Order is either Organizational or Individual.    Both are by application and invitation only. 

Organizational Alliance: 

Any Bishop and/or Grand Commander of another Chivalric Order who desires to seek affiliation may contact the Chancellor directly at the email address below.    All training materials are provided free of cost and no fees may be charged by affiliate members.  Bishops who have not been previously dubbed must complete training materials and arrange for physical or honorary dubbing.

Individual Membership:

1. Any Bishop or Knight Commander of this Order may sponsor an individual.   Sponsored applicants who are approved will be issued an invitation by the Chancellor.

2. Applicants must have attained a minimum age of 26.

3. Any individual without a sponsor may apply directly to the Chancellor.  

4. Approved Candidates for Knight/Dame must be able to attend dubbing ceremony.

5. Approved Candidates who are unable to attend dubbing ceremony or attend Commandery meetings are entitled to all training materials and support at no cost, but will be awarded Honorary degrees until physical dubbing can be arranged.

All members are expected to Embody, Express, and Encourage, a virtuous life as expressd by the Order's Chivalric Code, Patron Saint, Scripture, Motto, and Prayer.
