The Mother of All Peoples

"Most Holy Mother of All Peoples, Thou who cradles the world, haloed in the Spirit's fiery tongues, You, who bear us all as your children, caring for us with the same love you gave your firstborn child, You stand as a silent witness to God's original hope for all earth.

Here our prayer:

Most Holy Mother of All Peoples, help us recall that the universe is one song of praise, and we are all created as the beloved of God.  Help us all become one in thy love.  May all peoples and all nations be united as the children of God, beyond separation, through communion.  May the terrors of war cease, and human hearts enfold one another without boundaries but united in thy homeland.  As it was in the beginning.  Mother of us all, bring light, bring hope, bring peace to our lives and to all the world -- again."

Core Preparation: (No fees or applications are required but please write and let us know of your intent to participate in this work so we may include you in our prayers)

Work in the Violet Rose of the Mother involves awakening ardent love and devotion for the Divine Feminine.   Templum practices are grounded in the principle; "It is by Name and Image that all Powers are awakened or reawakened."  This process is supported via guided readings, meditations, inner pilgrimages, ritual, use of a specialized Rosary, and evocation of the Divine Feminine focusing on Mary the Mother of Christ, Miriam of Magdala, and the Holy Sophia.

The culmination of this eight-step process (which takes 3-4 months on average) is a Consecration to the Holy Mother or Rite of Initiation.  For women (or men) interested in preparing for Priesthood, (application and approval required for priesthood) Minor Orders may be granted upon completion of all requirements.

The 7 required steps include:

  1. Read one or both of the listed books and for each book read, submit a 1-page summary of your thoughts, feelings, and insights. Readings include:

  1. Concurrent with your readings, complete a 30-day practice which honors the Universal Mother.   Begin this practice on the next New Moon and end on the following Full moon.   The practice is to list and think about 22 mothers you know or have known (your earthly mother, relatives, friends, colleagues, etc.).  Then spend a few minutes thinking about "the One Collective Mother" who expresses Herself through all forms that give birth, e.g., people, animals, fish, birds, etc.  Extend this meditation to include the birth of the Earth, the Sun, the Solar System, and the Universe.   Now kneel down in front of a picture of the Holy Mother Mary--symbol of the Universal Mother.  Bow to the One God, place your forehead on the ground and pray; "Oh God Most High, we pray your Grace, Blessings, and Protection will be with Mother Earth and all life within, upon, and around Her."  Then pause and sense the Blessings surrounding the planet and all living Beings.  Keep a written daily journal of your practice noting date, time, any experience, and submit this journal upon completion.

  1. Memorize the tune Blue Robe of Mary (soon available online).  Sing or hum this tune daily for 30 days.  This my be done concurrent with step two above or afterwards.

  1. Write and request instructions on the esoteric use of the Rosary.  Following the instructions which will be provided, begin daily use of special Rosary for 30 days.  Keep a written daily journal of your practice noting date, time, any experience and submit this journal upon completion.

  2. Commit to at least 30 days of very brief intercessory Prayers for Peace.by joining the World Peace Prayer Society.  Their simple method is to spend a couple minutes each day visualizing the whole earth suffused with a sense of deep peace and then repeat; "May Peace Prevail on Earth."   As an alternative, you may use the "Peace to the Directions" practice (again, for at least 30 days).   In this practice, we stand in the North, point to the North with our right index finger and say; "Oh God Most High, we ask may there be Peace in the North."  As we do this, we imagine the Light, Love, and Peace of God entering us from above our heads, and then moving down to our hearts, and then traveling out our extended right arm through our index finger into our homes, communities, states, country, and world.  Then turning clockwise and stepping across to face the south, we repeat the process and say, "we ask may there be Peace in the South."  Then turning clockwise and facing west, we repeat the process and say, "we ask may there be Peace in the West." Then turning clockwise and facing east, we repeat the process and say, "we ask may there be Peace in the East." Then with both hands raised above our heads, we say, "may there be Peace Above." Then extending both arms downwards towards the Holy Mother Earth, we say, "May there be Peace Below."   Then turning inwards, we face the center, extend our arms out in blessings, and say, "May there be Peace throughout the whole world."  This step may be done concurrent with step 4 or afterwards.

  3. After completion of step 5, write and request the Consecration/Initiation Rite.

  4. Perform the Consecration/Initiation Rite.  Keep a written  record of your initiation noting date, time, any experience and submit upon completion.
