Know + Love + Serve

The Arimathea Institute is a service-oriented vehicle presenting activities associated with the Apostolic Guardian Church of Grace and Blessings, the Celtic Church, the Turtle-Heart School of Shamanic Spirituality, the Chivalric Martinist Order, and the Templum Octo de Rosae Mysticus.

The four-fold mission of the Arimathea Institute is to:

• Facilitate, within our local Chapel of   development of an open, interactive, friendly environment where like-minded people can meet to celebrate the Sacraments and support one another in deepening their spiritual walking

• Offer access to the Inner Orders of the Church of St. John the Beloved, The Celtic Church, and the Apostolic Guardian Church, via the Templum Octo de Rosae Mysticus.  The Templum (as a Christic-based esoteric consortium) offers initiatic training in the service of Light, Life, Love, and Liberty (Keys of the Way) from Eight Mystic Roses of the Western Mystery Traditions; Mystical/Magical Christianity, Martinism, Kabbalah, Hermeticism, Spiritual Chivalry, Sufism, Druidry, and Indigenous Shamanism

• Provide mentoring to those seeking further spiritual development, and/or those wishing to enter Holy Orders; and 

• Identify and establish working relationships with other service-oriented individuals and groups as described in the Esoteric World Service Group.

Standing in the rich Western Mystical Tradition we enjoy relationships with many teachers, but our central guide, model, and Hierophant is the Master Jesus--our spiritutal elder brother.  We believe the Divinity which manifested in Master Jesus differs in development, but not in quality, from that which is latent in each one of us.  For us, He is the Great Example, not the exception.  We are, as He was, children of the Most High in whom we live, move and have our being.

Our view of Master Jesus--Jeshua ben Miriam, is grounded in an alternative image that flows from contemporary biblical research, esoteric streams of Christian mysticism, and Western Mystery schools.   The focus is not about "believing in" Jesus but upon developing a deep, living relationship with his teachings and with the Divinity he knew so intimately--the Sacred Unity he called Allaha. 

On the Sacred Quest, the experience of others can serve as a guide, but only as a guide.  Today, those who answer the call to the Quest must rediscover for themselves the trails leading to the Path (the Way) and begin their ascent of the Holy Mountain into deeper communion with the Most High.

Each spiritual climber must make their own way through the Forrest of Errors to the Cavern of the Rose--the Heart.  Here, in this Temple not made with hands, the Holy Spirit of Wisdom Herself, the Divine Sophia longs for embrace, and awaits joyful re-discovery and blissful reunion.  Trembling with anticipation, She responds eagerly to our yearning, deep study, prayer, meditation, and above all selfless service.
